Next March, Budapest will once again become the capital of singer-songwriters when the DEX Songwriting Expo takes place for the third time.

The Budapest Songwriting Expo is the first in Europe to specifically focus on providing songwriters professional advancement and networking opportunities once a year for two days. In addition to encouraging collaboration between international songwriters, it also aims to support and inspire pop music artists.

Speakers of the two-day event will be from around the world, and we will organize more English-language programs in 2020 at the Budapest Music Center.

The lectures, trainings, workshops and panel discussions running parallel will cover the full spectrum of songwriting. Those interested can gain new insights or deepen their existing knowledge of inspired and applied composing, songwriting, as well as the various stages of production and studio work. On both days of the event, we will focus on providing support for songwriters regarding the music industry through lectures and individual consultation to help them to familiarize themselves with topics, such as copyrights, music publishing, sync-licensing and music management.
